Tamia stood there and listened a little while longer. It was something she learned early on, she would always listen to the men and the way they thought things should go. It always showed her who believed in her and who was doing this because they were afraid of thier lives.
Right now she felt the men sitting in the room thought she was not capable of pulling this off. "Maybe I'm not" she thought to herself as her eyes filled with tears. She quickly erased that thought from her mind though when she caught a reflection of herself in the window.
"LaKieth, did you not hear me when I said this needed to be speeded up??" she demanded as she went and sat next to him. "With the way you guys are planning things I'll go grow old in Port Charles tyring to exact my revenge. If you don't want to do this say so now, so I can kill you and get it over with."
The guys hated how she so easily threatened to kill them, whenever things didn't seem to be going her way. But deep down they weren't so sure it was threat, they were pretty sure she'd follow through.
"You can't just jump into this, we have to make sure our tracks are covered. It's one thing to get over on the PCPD its another to get over Sonny Corinthos" LaKieth warned her as Syrus walked in.
"I could care less about getting over on Sonny Corinthos, the wimp should be glad that I took care of something he should have taken care of long ago." she told him as she sat back in her chair and crossed her legs.
"And if he doesn't want to be grateful we can just pin the whole thing on him. Like the PCPD would think it was sweet Tamia Ann who pulled the trigger that killed a pain in thier rear end" Syrus told them. He leaned down and kissed Tamia on the cheek and sat on the arm of her chair.
Tamia smiled. Out of all her guards, Syrus was her favorite. He was the only one who totally trusted her and trusted her ability to pull this off. "I knew there was a reason I liked you Sy. You always see things my way. Granted I hadn't thought of pinning it on Corinthos though. That could turn out to be just the type of bargaining chip I need" she told him as she started to smile a wicked grin that worried the other two.
The group spent the rest of the night planning just how they were going to implement thier plan. Tamia really didn't care how it was done as long as it was done and done soon. She couldn't afford for this to drag on.
At about 2 in the morning Tamia told the guys she was tired and going to bed and she suggested they do the same because in the morning she expected them to start getting Sorel interested in a meeting with her without a) letting him now she was female and b) not letting Sonny get word that something was going on. She didn't want the Soprano mobster getting in her way, until it was time.
The next morning Tamia heard knocking on her door way to early. She rolled over to look at the clock on the nightstand next to her bed 10:38 am. "Who the hell is it??" she yelled as she made her way to the door.
"What the hell do you want??" she barked as she opened the door.
"Still not a morning person I see" Carly teased her as she strolled in her PH.
"There was a time when you weren't either" she said as she rolled her eyes. "When did you become so darn perky??"
"When I became a Mom." Carly told her. Tamia felt her heart break and her anger rise all at the same time. She quickly put on a mask though when she realized Carly was turning around.
"Okay well whats up, cuz I doubt you came around to see if I was a morning person or not??" Tamia asked wanting to go back to sleep.
"You're right I did come over here with a purpose, I was gonna go shopping and wanted to see if you wanted to come with??" Carly asked as she flopped herself on the couch.
"What about work, Carly?? If you want this thing to work with Laura you have to show up to work??" Tamia had hoped to at least have the day to herself so she could get this ball rolling. But it now looked like that wasn't going to happen, she was gonna have to more trust in the hands of her guys. And pray they didn't screw it up.
"Laura told me to take the rest of the week off to catch up with you. We postponed the launch party yesterday so we don't have that deadline looming and we can seriously think about things." Carly told her, kind of hurt that it appeared that Tamia didn't want to spend time with her.
"Well lets go shopping, I can't wait to see what this little town has to offer. I'll go get washed" Tamia walked back to her room cursing to her self the whole way back there.
When she got to the bathroom she turned on the radio and the shower and picked up her cell phone.
"LaKieth, hey I'm gonna need you guys to do this on your own. I won't be able to babysit today." she told him.
"Well I have good and bad news" he told her
"bad news??"
"They want to know who you are??
"good news??"
"We've made contact and they seem interested."
"Good, just come up with a story about who I am." she told him
"We tried but I couldn't think of anything." he admitted afraid of her response.
"Good Lord, Lakieth must I come up with everything" she scolded "Just tell him I used to work for David, I gained control and I'm ready to get rid of it."
"Okay boss, I'll check in later."
"Make it much later, I've got to spend the day bieng perky." she rolled her eyes at the thought and began to get ready to spend the day with her best friend. As cranky as she was the thought did bring a smile to her face. She really had missed Carly.
