Johnny didn't say anything just pulled her close and kissed her. Kissed her like he had been wanting to every morning since they met. Kissed her like he thought she deserved to be kissed. At first she resisted, but then feeling that there was no pity in his kiss, just passion leaned into him. Johnny slid back onto the couch and pulled her with him. She sat on his lap, thier lips never breaking contact. His hands roamed up and down her legs as her fingers got tangled in his hair.
Meanwhile back in Laura's office
"Well we called you girls in here to let you know who got the job..." Laura told them
"It wasn't an easy choice. The decision came down to who did well with both Theo and Lucky" Carly told them. Her mind was more on Sonny then on Deception.
"I'm sorry Liz, but the job is Gia's" Laura told the girls.
"That's okay Laura, I only went for the job because you wanted me to"
"Thank you Mrs Spencer, Carly. I won't let you down" Gia told them. The news hadn't really registered she was concerned about her sister.
"Laura, Carly if you don't mind I had some ad ideas I'd like to go over with you" Liz told them
"Not at all" Carly told her
The girls just sat there reeling in the memories of the events of the last 45 minutes.
Back in the Bathroom
Tatiana slowly began to pull away, she wanted to catch her breath. She sat next to him "Took ya long enough" she teased him as she wiped his mouth, he had lip gloss every where. He just smiled at her.
"Come on sunshine" she told him as she stood up and reached for his hand "my sister is probably hyperventilating by now"
He got up and followed her, but stopped short of the door "I meant that Tatiana, I wasn't trying to shut you up or anything. And I'm willing to wait.
"Thank you Johnny" she said stretching up to kiss him on his cheek "thank you"
The two left the bathroom and headed over to Laura's office
Sonny's Penthouse
Sonny sat on the couch with a glass in one hand and the bottle in the other. There was broken glass by the fireplace, the papers that had once been stacked on his desk neatly were now scattered over the floor. And water, flowers and glass decorated the dining room table. He sat on the couch and wallowed in his own misery.
Gia was right he thought outloud I never once aplogized to her but she always forgave me and I always took it He sits there silent as the dark clouds roll into Port Charles and the darkness beckons him like an old friend.
