Carly & Cheyanna were sitting on the couch eating the nachos they had just finished making and talking about Lois. Lois had just called and she wouldn't be there until later in the week and asked if they could take notes for her in the orientation they were scheduled to start on Monday. They of course said sure. They wanted to ask why she wasn't gonna be there until later on in the week but decided not too. They didn't want to appear to nosey...at least not yet. ''So what are we gonna do about choosing a room and beds if not everyone is here?'' Carly asked.

''Don't worry you can share my bed with me??'' The tall, bald, black guy said as he stood against the doorway.

''No thanx'' Carly replied obviously exasperated by the arrogance this guy had.

''Your loss'' he replied not paying much attention to her tone he was to busy checking out the other girl. Both girls rolled thier eyes. He just chuckled and went and sat down next to Cheyanna like they were old friends. Before she knew it he had picked her up and sat her on his lap.

''Hello!!!'' she said letting the surprise come out in her voice.

''I'm Marcus'' he said

''I'm Cheyanna and thats Carly'' she said. Cheyanna silently tried to figure out why she wasn't moving off this guy's lap she didn't know him from Adam. Cheyanna unconscioulsly wrapped an arm around Marcus's shoulders while he consciously wrapped his arms around her waist.

''So whats the issue with the rooms??'' he asked

''Our other roommate won't be here until later in the week, you and your roommates weren't here and we didn't want to cause any tension because we just picked rooms.'' explained Carly

''Knock, Knock am I interrupting anything the tall, brown haired, brown eyed stranger said

''Not at all!! Come on in!!'' greeted Carly ''I'm Carly, this is Cheyanna and thats Marcus''

''I'm Johnny, its nice to meet ya'll'' he said taking in the scene before him.

The phone rang and Carly jumped up to get it ''I got it'' she yelled. The others began talking among themselves.

''Hello''
''This is Carly''
''Hi Micheal''
''uh, huh''
''Yea, I totally understand''
''We'll see you guys then''
''Okay''
''Bye''

''Okay guys'' Carly started as she turned to the group ''that was Micheal. He's ya'lls *pointing to Marcus and Johnny* third. He and Lois are best friends, something is going on at home. They said pick rooms and beds. Even though Micheal still doesn't get this whole suite thing, it seems he didn't get his room assignment until yesterday and they hope to be here by Thursday''

The group then discussed who go what room, once they seperated into rooms who go what bed and started the long task of unpacking. Hours later they were finished, Cheyanna cooked dinner and just as they got ready to sit down there was a knock on the door.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and just stared at the door nervous and scared. This was New York City after all and yes they were in thier dorm but they had all heard stories about robberies and muggings. And the four new roommates weren't ready to face thier biggest fear just yet.
